Destiny is a Maryland‑based documentary filmmaker and video producer with a sharp eye for intimate, human‑driven stories. She has always been drawn to the hidden, the overlooked, and the wonderfully niche—worlds that reveal something deeper about the people who inhabit them. That fascination guides her filmmaking practice today.
She holds a graduate certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, where she developed a strong foundation in vérité storytelling and character‑driven filmmaking. Her student film, Welcome to King Friday’s Dungeon, premiered at the Camden International Film Festival in 2023 and was selected for a special screening at the Colonial Theatre in Belfast, Maine, in 2025 as part of CIFF’s showcase of favorite Maine‑made shorts from the past decade.
Destiny has since sharpened her storytelling toolkit at FilmNorth’s Inclusive & Socially Conscious Filmmaking Lab and UnionDocs Collaborative Studio, expanding her approach to collaborative storytelling and socially engaged nonfiction work.
She is a proud member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia, a devoted Boston Terrier enthusiast (show her your dog pics), and always on the hunt for the perfect signature fragrance. When she’s not filming, she’s probably wandering through an antique store, sharing music with friends, or stumbling upon the next tiny world she’ll fall in love with.
